Borja Quevedo
Senior Android Developer
"Turning complex ideas into scalable Android apps — powered by Kotlin and clean architecture."
17+ years building software that matters. Currently at Minddistrict, developing the secure mobile platform that delivers digitally enabled mental health therapy to 250,000+ patients across Europe — because technology should help people heal. Before that, 14 years at GMV building everything from award-winning satellite tolling to EU border security and citizen science.
I'm a passionate software developer who found his home in the Android ecosystem. After cutting my teeth on backend systems in Java and .NET, I made the jump to mobile development and never looked back. I thrive on solving complex problems with clean, maintainable code — whether that's building secure health platforms, V2X communication systems, or environmental monitoring apps. When I'm not coding, you'll find me exploring functional programming concepts, contributing to open source, or mentoring fellow developers. I believe great software is built by people who care about both the craft and the humans using it.

> It's rare that you come across standout talent like Borja. I had the pleasure of working with him for two years and a half side by side at GMV, collaborating on several international projects. I was particularly impressed by his ability to solve all kind of technical tasks being 'ridiculously efficient'. No matter how difficult a problem is, Borja always finds a solution to it. Any company would be lucky to have him on their team; he earns my highest recommendation.
